Convivio is truly a great tool in helping us, as youth, make a difference. Through Convivio, I've learned tons of things about my faith, about myself, and about what (or Who) I'm searching for. I grew in knowledge of the Lord, and it is still helping me continue to do so. This happened in so many ways! Through all the different topics, games and fun, and new friends I've made, I got to encounter Jesus in a totally new way. What I love is that Convivio is for everyone; teens from all different places and walks of life. It shows that we are ALL searching for something, no matter who we are or where we're from, and Convivio helps us all to find it. Teens should definitely give Convivio a chance - they have nothing to lose, they only have a huge chance to start building a path to real happiness!

At Convivio we meet a lot of new people that can help us to find meaning to our life, we find true friends that will be with us in times of trouble and good times as well! I realized from Convivio that I was not the only person in the world that was searching for the wrong things and that a lot of people can be confused about life like I was. That is why Convivio is so great, because you meet people like yourself and grow together with them to be the person you are called to be. Convivo teaches us so much about life and our society! Definitely come to this great conference and figure out the answers to the questions of our life and the questions of our society!!!

When I was in high school I was just looking for something else. I was absolutely bored with the typical way of life; a completely meaningless life with no goal. I started searching in order to understand what was happening with me. I had a lot of friends, a great family and good grades, and even with all that stuff I wasn’t feeling ok.
In those years, like 5 years ago, a strange event was about to happen at my high school, it was called “CONVIVIO”, and as the publicity said, it was a religious event. Obviously, as a teenager, I had the typical prejudices, I thought we would be praying all-day long and talking with a hundred year old monk. However, for a reason I still don’t completely understand, I gave it a chance… OK, the truth is that my curiosity was too strong.
I had to admit that my fist day at CONVIVIO was a complete surprise. There were neither a hundred year old monk nor boring topics. In fact, the guys who were leading CONVIVIO were just a few years older than me. With no doubt, my empty glass was starting to be filled.
I returned to CONVIVIO the next year and I had an even greater experience, because I was just about to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. My experiences of joy and hope were overwhelming… I have to say it: I experienced the happiness that only comes with finding Jesus.
And as the story continues, I returned to CONVIVIO as a leader. Maybe one of the strongest experiences of God in my life; helping people to understand who they are, asking them about their goals in life, sharing experiences.
CONVIVIO is a revealing experience that makes us understand ourselves, where we are going, and what we’re searching for.
CONVIVIO didn’t make me a saint; CONVIVIO just invited me to be a real catholic, with all my strengths and weaknesses. I went because it was good, and it’s for that reason I want to invite you, a young person with the same longings, with the same doubts, and with the same questions, to give CONVIVIO a chance… maybe, you will have the same surprise as me, maybe you will find your way to real happiness in the encounter with God, with yourself, and with your friends.
